Day 0 – Wallsend, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK – It’s been just over a year since the love of my life, Chris, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and his treatment began. Tomorrow, I’m beginning a 200-mile bicycle journey from Newcastle to Edinburgh with my sister, Kristine, her husband, Ray, my niece, Sage and nephew, Carson, to raise awareness and money to fight pancreatic cancer, a silent and deadly cancer that ultimately took Chris’s life.
